Becoming a Member
Chinesischer Turm e.V. grew out of a regulars' table in the beer garden and became a registered Munich association in 2019 (VR 208108). Our mission: keeping Bavarian beer garden culture and the traditions at the Chinese Tower alive. Members carry that mission, and joining is deliberately simple.

Why join?
Because traditions survive only if someone keeps them alive. Members keep the monthly Stammtisch running, show up in Tracht at the Kocherlball, and build this website into the most detailed source about the tower. In return you get a standing table at one of Munich's finest places, a festive year with real highlights, and a say in everything the association does.
How it works
Come to the Stammtisch, first Saturday of the month, 3 pm, at the Chinese Tower beer garden, and tell us you want to join; the paperwork is a formality. Or write to presse@chinesischerturmev.de. Frequently asked questions
How much is the fee?
10 euros per month, with voting rights included.
Do I have to live in Munich?
No. Friends of the tower are welcome wherever they live.
Do I need to speak German?
A friendly hello gets you far; plenty of members are happy to switch to English.
